I like backlighting and this scene gave me a chance to work with really good back lighting. It’s not that the light in the kitchen was that strong, it was just normal, but it was so dark in the room I was in that the difference between the two was a lot. A lot more than the dynamic range of film (or digital for that matter) can handle.
